The Menu: Honey Ham, Carrot Souffle, Garlic Smashed Red Potatoes, Pan-seared Brussel Sprouts with Walnuts and Citrus Craisins, and Butter Crescents. Dessert: Homemade Old-fashioned Gingerbread. The meal was not a hit with my low-brow, non-traditionalist children. They would have much preferred hot dogs. Or Tijuanas.
