Mentally, summer break began weeks ago…

And with Asher’s composing of this Ode to Summer:

Summertime is full of fun.

I never want to be done–

with summertime.

Fun! Fun! It’s so fun. It’s summertime!

Also it’s summer break for all the schools around

I’m so happy for summertime’s where I’m bound.

We will be home all day,

Look there are cookies on the tray!

The sun is shining hot.

We got summer time a lot.

Oh, summertime is full of fun.

I never want to be done–

with summertime.

But today was the last day of school and the official start of summer break!

Summer bound with lots of loot from the final Assembly. Both boys had the most AR points for their classes. Jude snagged a couple math awards, and one of Asher's pictures will be featured in the weather section of the Kenosha News in July.
